According to the reports, Ranbir Kapoor who was the favorite for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s next film ‘Chithiyan’. The reason behind this thought was grand success of Rockstar, but due to certain reasons Ranbir led down the believe of Vidhu and said no. The reason behind his denial is his busy schedule and he failed to provide dates for this film and hence he and Vidhu Vinod Chopra decided to drop the plan.
After this the film may drop into Shahid Kapoor's bag who was considered to be second favourite. But even he has not agreed yet to work in the project, however, it's said that he was interested in "Chithiyan". The film may go on floors in the later half of 2012.
Chopra is busy deciding the rest of the cast of the film. There has been no clues regarding the actress and the other stars. It would be interesting to know about it.
